On the nose of this Bolgheri Rosso, there are so many essence-like fruits, from blackberry scent and dark-cherry compote to fresher aspects of rosemary, lavender, hot stones, and lemon. The palate is fine and elegant, with a big body and ample fruit, but the firm and wonderfully woven tannic backbone maintains it fine and graceful. The finish is really long.
